CLUB HISTORY
The Mid Vancouver Island Marine Modellers, came to life in 1984 when a group of ship modellers decided to organize. These Modellers wanted to share ideas, stories, and experiences. It also gave them an opportunity to meet with others with similar interests. This once small club soon grew in numbers and in 2012 a club decision was made to shorten the name of the club. The new name of this club is the Nanaimo Boat Modellers Club. The Nanaimo Boat Modellers club is open to new membership.
